Stadium Tips: What may be brought into the stadium?

Can I bring drinks into the Stadium? How big can my camera and my flag be? Here the Club offers you the most important tips for when you visit the stadium for a 1. FC Nürnberg home game. You can also read the club’s official rules for behaviour in the stadium.

  • visibly intoxicated persons (or those with an body alcohol level of over 0.8mg per millilitre) as well as persons under the influence of drugs, will be refused entry to the stadium
  • firearms of any kind, as well as bottles, glasses or other objects which may be used as missiles, are not permitted in the stadium. Pyrotechnic and pressurised objects, laser pens and thermos flasks are also prohibited inside the ground.
  • stock umbrellas may not be brought into the stadium, but children-sized umbrellas are permitted in wet weather
  • the security service will conduct searches of all visitors at the entrance to the stadium, and are permitted to check bags and rucksacks. Additionally, stewards can also temporarily confiscate items deemed as potential missiles. These items will be held and can be reclaimed after the game for a fee of €1.
  • non-alcoholic drinks in Tetra-Pak containers may be brought into the stadium, with a limit of 0.5 litres per person
  • flags or banners poles are permitted in the stadium but may not exceed 1.5 m in size and 2cm in diameter.
  • the use of camera and recording equipment is permitted for personal use. Lenses must not exceed 15cm in length. Photographic, film, video and/or audio recordings for the purpose of public display or commercial use are not permitted.
  • important: in the north stand (blocks 1-13), no fans are permitted whose clothing identifies them as fans of a team other than 1. FC Nürnberg!
  • news updates of special S-Bahn services or other transport services will be posted on the Club’s homepage, www.fcn.de after games. Notifications will also be advertised on the big screens in the stadium during matches.
