"Max Morlock's Treff": Fan hospitality for up to 400 guests. 350m² covered outdoor area. 310m² of kiosks for street sales. Biergarten on Max-Morlock-Platz. Promenade (950 metres long) with 34 kiosks and up to 110 cashiers, including 12 drinks kiosks and 22 kiosks offering various types on food.

Other facilities: light athletics facilities according to international competition standard. Sprinkler system, fed from rainwater reservoirs. Pitch heating. Driving directions

The easyCredit Stadium is well signposted from the following motorway exits:

• A9 Fischbach exit
• A6 Nuernberg-Langwasser exit
• A73 Nuernberg-Zollhaus exit

Alternatively, local drivers can leave the Suedwesttangente towards the city centre, then follow the signs.

Parking spaces: total 15 000, including 205 VIP spaces in stadium.

Stadium and Blocks

1FC Nuremberg is the first Bundesliga club to name its seating blocks after important players.

FCN-President Michael A. Roth explains the innovation: "We are one of the classic German clubs, and in recognition of our depth of tradition the Presidium and Board have decided to give the fan blocks in the easyCredit stadium the names of worthy players."

The players must fulfil at least two of the following three criteria:

• at least 400 matches for the Club
• League Champion with the Club
• national player

Not all blocks have been named yet - quite deliberately. "We want to leave room for future developments", smiles Michael A. Roth.

History
 
From "Municipal Stadium" to the easyCredit Stadium
 
It took only three years to build the original 50,000 capacity Municipal Stadium at Dutzendteich. Work was completed in 1928. Soon after the stadium was opened, the first dark clouds gathered over Germany: the stadium became the site of Hitler Youth events during the Nazi party rallies.

After 1945, the US Army used the stadium as a sports arena. In 1963 it became home to the 1FC Nuremberg when they left the old "Zabo" ground... Additional stands were built using scaffolding techniques, and a floodlight system installed. The first complete renovation took place between 1987 and 1991, capped off with a name change to Franken-Stadion (Franconia Stadium)!

The latest renovation took place while play continued at the Franken-Stadion. Since the end of the 2004/05 season, the stadium is finally dressed in a rich Club red. The new colourful seating has become a trademark of the Club’s home ground. On March 13, 2006 the Franken-Stadion took on a new name: it’s now called the easyCredit-Stadion.
